The score measures checklist completeness, including optional recommendations. It is not a website quality rating or a requirement to launch. Passed checks earn full points, recommendations earn half, and observed issues earn none. Weights are our product choices, not an official standard.
Coverage is separate. It shows how much of the weighted checklist we could verify. If any weighted check is unverified, we withhold the total score and show the known findings with coverage. A timeout or bot challenge is not a failed configuration check. A high score does not certify security or guarantee search rankings.
For a specific subdomain, the apex/www comparison is not applicable. Its seven points are excluded and the remaining score is normalized to 100.
Great: 90–100. Good: 70–89. Needs work: below 70 or any failed check. Incomplete reports stay ungraded until unverified checks are resolved.
Missing mail records do not reduce the score. Canonical, sitemap and social metadata recommendations depend on the site’s goals; they are not universal launch requirements.
FROM DOMAIN TO DEPLOYMENT
Check a new website, a domain migration or a recent DNS change. We inspect the homepage and public configuration without requiring access to your hosting account.
See where your DNS points, how HTTP and www redirect, and whether canonical URLs, crawler rules and sitemaps agree. Review the observed issue before changing a setting.
Prioritize observed failures, then decide which recommendations fit your site. Recheck after deployment and export the report as JSON, Markdown or a print-ready PDF.
A launch check is one part of release testing. Test your forms, links, accessibility and performance separately, and use Google Search Console to confirm indexing. This checker cannot see Google’s private index reports.
Your domain is sent to our Cloudflare Worker. It queries Cloudflare’s public DNS resolver and requests public pages on the target website. No cookies, login details or browser credentials are forwarded. The target server sees requests from the scanner. The application does not save scan reports. Temporary abuse-prevention counters use hashed domain identifiers; the hosting provider and target site may retain ordinary request metadata. Exports are saved only when you choose to download them.
A snapshot of the public homepage and commonly queried DNS records, from one resolver and scanner location. DNS records cannot be exhaustively enumerated, and private dashboard settings are not visible. We inspect up to five redirects per chain, at most four sitemap candidates and two sitemap-index children. Listed pages are not crawled. Response size and request limits are reported if reached.
HTML is fetched without executing JavaScript. Certificate expiry, issuer, complete TLS chain, global DNS propagation, actual Google indexing, Core Web Vitals and email delivery are outside this check. Bot protection or a network failure can produce an unverified result even when a site works in your browser.
Read the Google robots.txt documentation, canonical URL guidance, Sitemaps protocol and Open Graph protocol. Scoring weights are our product checklist, not scores assigned by those organizations.
